What is the internal layout and counter location inside the SeaTac Rental Car Facility?

Upon arriving at the SeaTac Rental Car Facility via the dedicated airport shuttle, passengers are dropped off directly on the 5th floor. This 5th floor serves as the primary customer service hub where all major rental car company counters are conveniently situated in a single, open-concept concourse. After completing your rental agreement paperwork on the 5th floor, you will take the escalators or elevators down to the designated parking levels to retrieve your vehicle. Each brand has specific parking aisles clearly marked, typically spanning from aisles 1 through 40 depending on the provider. When returning your vehicle, the layout differs significantly. Vehicle returns do not take place on the 5th floor; instead, customers must drive their cars into the facility and follow the overhead signs to the lower levels. For example, Sixt vehicle returns are specifically located on Level 3. Other major brands are distributed across Level 2 and Level 3. After parking, you simply hand the keys to the attendant or drop them in the designated drop-box, then proceed to the 3rd floor bus waiting area, where shuttles depart approximately every 5 minutes to transport you back to the main airport terminal.
