What to expect on your trip

  • CONRAC agencies may equip select vehicles with dashcam or GPS telematics — exterior walk-around photos before leaving the garage protect you if prior damage is disputed.
  • Prior collision or damage history on your driving record does not automatically void CDW/LDW, but counters may raise deposit holds ($200–$750) or restrict exotic/SUV classes.
  • Chase Sapphire Reserve provides secondary collision damage waiver when you decline the rental company's CDW/LDW and pay with the card.
  • Coverage up to $75,000 for most standard vehicles rented up to 31 consecutive days.
  • At SeaTac CONRAC: decline all damage waivers, use CSR for the full rental charge, and keep the signed decline contract.
Honest heads-up
Know this

Kayak averages hide CFC (~$7/day) and ACRF (11.1%) stacked on base rates. Compare all-in daily cost, not headline $/day.

Know this

Deposit holds are often confused with charges. At CONRAC, holds typically release 5–14 business days after return depending on bank batching.
